KYLIE MARTIN

Kylie Martin, is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter who’s been performing for over 35 years.  She joined Broadsway in 2025, immediately elevating the music starting with that year’s seasonal tour for The Most Wonderful Time … Maybe! 

A graduate of the University of Toronto’s Jazz Studies department, Kylie has toured Canada, the US, and the Caribbean with Jaymz Bee and the Royal Jelly Orchestra as a member of the Beehive Singers (Milan / BMG) and continued her singing as a founding member of the vocal jazz ensemble 4Skör, before officially becoming a “Broad”.  Over the years, she’s shared the stage with renowned jazz artists Oscar Peterson, Holly Cole, and New York Voices. 

In 2000, Kylie released her self-titled solo release, co-written with award-winning composer Keith Power.  She’s been a guest performer on varied projects, including Carol Welsman’s JUNO-nominated recording Inclined, Chris Dedrick’s soundtrack for the television series The City, as well as recordings by celebrated Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield.  Her television appearances include programs on CBC, Citytv, Bravo!, Global, and TV Ontario.

Kylie’s theatre credits include Bedford Park Players’ productions of The Bopping Dead (“Sandy”), La Neigé (chorus), Naughtyham (“Caroline”), This Thing Called Love (chorus), Dicers and Dames (“Frannie”), The End of the Wild, Wild West (“Annie Oakley”), and Greek Lightening (“Eurydice”).
