Kylie Martin
Newest member of Broadsway, Kylie Martin, is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter who’s been performing for over 35 years.
A graduate of the University of Toronto’s Jazz Studies department, Kylie has toured and recorded with Four-o’-One which later became the Beehive Singers (of which she was a founding member), as well as Jaymz Bee and the Royal Jelly Orchestra, and 4Skör.
In 2000, Kylie released her self-titled solo release, co-written with award-winning composer Keith Power. She’s been a guest performer on varied projects, from Carol Welsman’s JUNO-nominated recording Inclined and the late Chris Dedrick’s soundtrack for the television series The City, to recordings by celebrated Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield.
Kylie’s theatre credits include Bedford Park Players’ productions of The Bopping Dead (“Sandy”), La Neigé” (chorus), Naughtyham (“Caroline”), This Thing Called Love (chorus), Dicers and Dames (“Frannie”), and The End of the Wild, Wild West (“Annie Oakley”).
